Stress Management.  In this workshop participants will be learning what stress is, how to detect signs of it and ways to manage stress. In addition, participants will be taught anti-stress exercises that will be beneficial to their physical and mental wellbeing. Partnership with Family Services of Peel.

The Facts on Aging and Depression. This workshop will entail exploring the facts and myths of depression. In addition, treatment options will be discussed and information will be provided on the support systems and services available in the community. Partnership with Family Services of Peel.

Epilepsy Halton Peel has selected the Square One Adult Centre to participate in a special pilot project. Teaching Awareness through Puppetry involves putting on a live production using puppets in order to teach seniors sensitivity, awareness and understanding of disabilities and differences. Following each performance, attendees are given the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and assist in dispelling myths surrounding epilepsy and other medical conditions.
